Donald Trump On Tariffs

Welcome to the Trump Train Express.  We hope to include here issues important to all Americans, with an admitted bias for the work of Donald J. Trump in addressing these issues.  As an example, we start off the site with an issue which President Trump addressed head-on: TARIFFS.  When the President began using Tariffs to help with the trade imbalance between the U.S.A. and other countries, we would like to say that Democrats screamed to High Heaven against the policy, but it seems too many Democrats no longer believe in Heaven, so let’s just say they found a nice, cozy “safe space” where they could throw a nice, safe temper tantrum against the President’s tariff policy.

Tariffs – What They Are & Why We Need Them

As a visually oriented person.  I learn a lot more readily when I see graphics or videos about a subject.  So I’m going to offer that which I consider an OUTSTANDING video on the subject of Tariffs and WHY PRESIDENT TRUMP IS DOING THE RIGHT THING BY IMPOSING THEM ON CHINA.

The Number ONE Progressive Talk Show Host In America

Thom Hartmann is ranked by Talkers Magazine as the #1 progressive talk show host in America. He is a NY Times best selling author of more than 20+ books.  Hartmann has been hosting a nationally syndicated radio show, The Thom Hartmann Program, since 2003 and hosted a nightly television show, The Big Picture, between 2010 and September 2017.

For years Hartmann gave Senator Bernie Sanders a national platform with his weekly “Brunch with Bernie” segments. One can’t get more Progressive than that. Having the Senator on for years also reveals Hartmann’s CLOUT as a respected historian & Progressive Liberal.  Here is Thom Hartmann’s explanation of what Tariffs are and why the U.S.A. needs them.
